Today on his “IslamNewsRoom” website, controversial American preacher, Yusuf Estes, announces the latest phase of his  da’wah projects: promotion of open soofees (sufis) and ash’arees.  The kick-off is with Suhaib Webb, who is as open and clear as a person can be about his affiliation:

I’m sufi, ash’ari, azhari!

We have no need to focus on Suhaib Webb and his beliefs and teachings specifically, since his open ascription to innovation is a simple matter for Muslims to deal with – We simply educate ourselves about the differences between the creed of Ahlus-Sunnah and the innovated beliefs and practices of the Sufis and Ash’aris.

Perhaps Yusuf Estes has given up trying to swindle Ahlus-Sunnah out of their money whilst promoting horrific violations of their basic beliefs, and now he heads to a new crowd, the Sufi Ash’aris, an affluent group, with much less concern for correct creed and much more willingness to promote ignorance.  This does not come as a shock to those who have been following the decay of his deviant teachings that the mus-haf is not really the Quran, and the Quran is only found in the Lowh Mahfooth with Allah, etc. (Read this PDF for proofs.) While Ahlus-Sunnah consider these teachings apostasy, this kind of idea actually floats with the deviance of the Ash’aris and blends right in with their denial of Allah’s Speech and other glorious and magnificent Attributes of our Creator!

We were honored by Sheikh Suhaib Webb by a visit to our community here in Columbus, Ohio. While he was here we discussed many things about the condition of our ummah and the dawah here in America. It seems we are all on the same page when it comes to bringing the message to our youth and non-Muslims.

Perhaps it is just one more great blunder from Yusuf Estes (may Allah guide him), or perhaps he has actually realized how exposed his deviant beliefs and teachings have now become amidst the ranks of everyday Sunnis, as many of his close contacts urge him to repent and rectify his falsehood.  Perhaps he has now decided to openly change sides and join the ranks of the people of innovation, beginning with the Sufi Asharis.  Will “GuideUS TV” now become an open platform for Suhaib Webb and the Sufi Ash’aris? May Allah protect us.
